Write for us

We welcome thoughtful pitches about the conditions and customs of creative life: the spaces people make in, the tools they use, the practices they share and the ways audiences encounter art.

What makes a good pitch

A strong proposal names its central question, explains why it matters to a general reader and shows what distinctive angle the piece will take. Tell us what kind of article you have in mind, which examples or materials would shape it, and why the subject suits Inspired Culture Guide. Original, well-bounded ideas are more useful than a broad topic alone.

The kind of work we seek

We are interested in clear, specific writing that helps readers see a practice or creative setting in a new way. Proposals may explain a process, compare approaches, trace a custom or examine how a space shapes an encounter. Please distinguish firsthand experience from broader claims and flag any permissions or image considerations that may apply.

Send a proposal

Send pitches and writing proposals through the Contact page, selecting the editorial question option. Include a brief outline and a little about your connection to the subject. A proposal is not a promise of publication; we will consider its fit, scope and clarity before deciding whether to discuss it further.
